Just like to start by saying after last weeks drubbing of Parkstone today opponents Wincanton will cause a lot more problems to us as it turned out to be. The game was delay dew to the none appearance of the referee, finally underway the first 5min's both teams were committed to the challenge and playing nice football, after 8min's our best moment came when there was good inter-play between Censen Yilmaz and Lee Green to set up Jamie Mowlem only to head straight at the keeper, Adam Watson found himself in acres of space just outside the 18yard box who hit an excellent shot only to see the ball fly inches wide of upright, the game remained even as both sides was looking for the opener, On 22min's after a save from our Keeper Ellis Cowler who released Scott Woodford who then released Sonny Cook then good inter-play between himself and Lee Green who then made an inch prefect pass into Jamie Mowlem only for the keeper to make an excellent save. We started to gain momentum on 25min's Adam Watson hit a power driver just over the bar, Finally the opener came on 28min's Scott Woodford made a defense splitting pass into Lee Green who run and put the ball past the oncoming keeper 1-0, 90second later after a lack of communication in our 6yard box between Ellis Cowler and Liam Bourke only to see there center-forward toe-poke the ball in. 1-1, As much as the same to take us into half time 1-1. After a brief talk at half time i said to the player as much the same in the second half keep pressing. Subs Aaron Gutteridge on for Ollie Miller, On 55min's Ross Hampton-Brown hit a great shot onto the post a minute later Lee Green hit the same post from a corner, Finally 58min's Ross Hampton-Brown struck the sweetest shot from 25yards out straight into the center of the goal keeper no chance 2-1, Unfortunately on 62min's from a route corner Ellis Cowler (our keeper) came to collect the ball only to see in go straight through his hands and onto the head of the Wincanton player 2-2. Sub Jamie Sherwood on for Liam Bourke. Ellis Cowler(our keeper) made the save of the game and was probably the turning point. At this point both teams was pressing for the winner and committed to the cause to win the game, As the game was near the end one last push we received a corner pushing everyone forward Adam Watson put the perfect corner into the box for Adam Cutler to rise above everyone head a bullet header into the net(What a feeling MAGIC) 3-2. Sub Jamie Minett on for Lee Green to run down the last few seconds. FULL-TIME 2-3 Managers report even though that we won the game to keep the moment going i do feel sorry for our visitors Wincanton on the effort and sportsmanship during the game and good luck to then for the rest of the season, To our players that was our hardest test to date and everyone of then was absolutely fantastic for there commitment and effort and hard work during the game and to keep going till the very end, (See lads the hard work in training has its rewards). Well done to you all.
